Himalaya Speman is an Ayurvedic formulation designed to support male sexual health and function, specifically aiming to improve sperm count. The formula is supported by Ayurveda texts and modern research. Key ingredients include Cowhage or Velvet Bean (Kapikachchu), which is an aphrodisiac that supports the production of hormones linked to the brain's 'pleasure system' and acts as a prophylactic against oligospermia (low sperm count). Hygrophilia (Kokilaksha) helps treat impotence, spermatorrhea, and seminal debilities. Small Caltrops (Gokshura) contains protodioscin, a steroidal saponin compound that converts into DHEA (a precursor of testosterone) in the body, which then improves sexual desire and sustains penile erection.
